Kitsilano, or more affectionately known as “Kits”, is quite possibly the epitome of the Vancouver lifestyle. Known for it’s fantastic beach with a very large, public salt water outdoor pool, this is one area where people flock to in the Summer.
Kits features two main streets running east to west – West 4th and West Broadway – where you can enjoy the local shopping and great restaurants. Kitsilano is home to Khatsalano Days, Greek Day and a Car Free Day festival during the summer, along with a handful of marathons.
